The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him

Location

The Community Center & Masjid is currently located at 1231-1235 4th Street, a 6,270 square foot building, in Downtown Santa Monica right next to the famous 3rd Street Promenade which is an outdoor market that is home to over 80 retail stores, restaurants, and the Santa Monica Pier. The masjid is situated right across from a public parking garage which houses hundreds of cars
and the first 90 minutes are free.
In August 2024, the Third Street Promenade recorded a visitor count of 404,729 people giving plenty of opportunity for Dawah and visitors to the masjid coffee shop.
For Muslims coming from outside of Los Angeles for lectures and classes there are 40 hotels to choose from.
Additionally, it’s the terminus of the Metro E Line, which ferries riders by light rail between Santa Monica, CA and Downtown Los Angeles.
